The Great Gatsby High Tea Gala Fundraiser

 

It’s time to raid the op-shops, dust off your Gatsby dancing shoes, dress up in your flapper outfit, enjoy a fabulous swing and jazz band  and feast on a sumptuous High Tea right here in Buderim.

 

 

The Rotary Club of Buderim cordially invites you to join us for an afternoon of fashion, fun and festivities as we raise funds for a worthy international Rotary charity.  Wendy’s Flowers and Event Hire is going to transform the Buderim Tavern into a glitzy and glamorous Gatsby movie set with diamonds, feathers and 1920’s fashion and frivolity !

The University of Sunshine Coast drama department’s students will be performing a scene from THE GREAT GATSBY and the high energy dances will entertain and delight.  The beautifully designed costumes and dance routine by the Performing Arts Kollective (PAK) will be a joy to watch and you are then invited to show off your own skills on the dance floor. Make sure you check out their Facebook page and watch a preview of their performance-it's sure to get your toes tapping! The well-known “4 to the Bar” dance and swing band will also perform all your favourite dance routines.
